Arepitas: A Vegetarian Haven with Delicious Arepas and Great Service in Round Rock

Had lunch today Wednesday December 11th. Food is absolutely magnificent! Had a Cachapa with beef ( the hairy ) could not have been better. Thank you to the chef and all the people working in the kitchen! Thank you to Joel who was our server Joel, we so appreciate you!! The service, the food could not have been better!! Cannot wait to go back! Thank you Arepitas for putting out tasty & quality food!

Dude I ordered the parrallita plate with portabellos, Argentine shrimp, jalapeños all for myself freaking self as a big act of self love after a shitty week. And damn I feel the love. Joel M was the sweetest server ever. I sat there in my own booth and chowed down while watching the Tulsa King. Best self date ever

Good service, friendly staff, good price, and clean facility. They also have a great ambiance, love the decor and when you walk in you feel ready to have a good time. Not my style of food, although they did have some veggie options. My family loved it though so I know the sandwich-esque arepita is popular.

I found this place through Yelp. I'm very satisfied the Arepas. They were so good however the sauces makes them extra delicious. I don't think they put enough sauce in the arepas so we ordered extra and come to find out they charge $.75 for every extra sauce. The Arepas were huge I personally like the original size not too big. They had a lot of meat in it. I could not finish mine. I had to take the rest home. The garlic sauce is amazing! Stick with that sauce and you won't be disappointed. Spicy sauce is good too. I like the feel of the place casual and clean. The staff was really good. I had great service no complaints there.

12:30 PM on a Friday and this place was nearly full! We quickly found out why there were so many people eating lunch on a weekday at this restaurant. The food is solidly delicious! We tried three entrees/sandwiches and one appetizer and were impressed by the quality and size of everything. My favorite was the Pepito (Mixed) but a close second was the Cachapas which was sweet and savory. We didn't love the chicken avocado salad in the Pimped out Queen and probably wouldn't get that one again but we're very excited to go back and try more of the Arepas and the bowls. The tequenos - cheese sticks were some of the best cheese sticks I've ever had. I could have just eaten those as my meal they were so good!

What a great place! Service was amazing. Food was fenomenal. So much more to try.... Starting with the aperizers, yuca frita and sweet plantains. Oh so good!!! Arepas are not created equal and venezuelan arepas are very special. You just have to try them. Arepas rellenas are an experience rather than just a dish. The ambiance of the place is so laid back and welcoming. My place to explore for a whole month until my palate is satisfied. Great find!!!

This place has yet to disappoint us. We've been here several times and every time we come we try something new. One thing that we order every time we go is the yucca. This is a must try. The service here is impeccable I love the staff they're very very attentive. We always look forward to going back.

Needed a last minute lunch stop and Arepitas fit the bill! We stopped at an in between time (2 PM) which can be risky sometimes. This delicious Venezuelan food, was fun, fresh, and fantastic start to finish. Love the visual menus, I'm a visual learner and educator by trade so I love the ability to see what everything looks like before I order! We had a Bowl and an Arepita, both were ridiculously good. Layers of colors, flavors, and textures the combinations were perfection! My son ordered some fries which were hot and extra crispy. I'd recommend ordering a variety of the sauces. We loved the garlic and house special sauce the most! It's great drizzled or for dipping. Service with a smile and a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Got the Crazy Fries again!! So delicious. This time I got the meat combo. It's a really big portion but perfect if you are sharing. Chicken empanada is also good! The Guava Pie! Ice cream and guava syrup on top of a pie crust is perfection! The ice cream does overflow and melt so you gotta finish eating it quickly. It takes a really long time for the food to come out-about 20 min-but the food is so good that the wait time is negligible.

I recently picked up food from Arepitas and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the Empanadas with chicken and spicy homemade sauce, along with the chicken Pepito Sandwich. The empanadas were deliciously crispy on the outside and filled with perfectly seasoned chicken. The spicy homemade sauce was a great addition, adding just the right amount of heat. The chicken Pepito Sandwich was an absolute treat. It came with grilled onions, cabbage salad, potato sticks, ketchup, mayoketchup, homemade honey mustard, garlic homemade sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and a side of crispy French fries. The combination of flavors in the sandwich was amazing, and the fries were cooked to perfection. Even though this was a pick-up order, I noticed the dining area was cozy and clean, and the staff were very welcoming. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous. I am definitely planning to return and dine in next time. Highly recommend checking out Arepitas!
